Earns right to continue supplying payment solutions to federal
agencies
WASHINGTON & MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 7, 2017--
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has selected U.S. Bank to
participate in the GSA SmartPay 3® program for government
charge cards and related payment services. A new 13-year agreement
allows U.S. Bank to offer purchase, travel, fleet and integrated payment
solutions to federal agencies, continuing the bank’s long-term
partnership with the government. The GSA SmartPay 3 program takes effect
Nov. 30, 2018.
The GSA SmartPay program is the world’s largest government payment
program, used by more than 560 federal agencies to obtain charge cards
and other payment services from authorized providers. U.S. Bank
currently provides payment solutions to a wide range of GSA SmartPay
program participants including the Department of Defense, Department of
Veterans Affairs, Department of Agriculture, United States Postal
Service, Department of Transportation and the Government Accountability
Office.
