MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2015--
U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Visa customers can now use their mobile device to
instantly redeem FlexPoints for a statement credit that offsets their
recent FlexPerks Visa credit-card purchase.
“Real-Time Rewards puts the power of instant rewards redemption in your
hands and makes it simple and convenient to use FlexPoints,” said Bob
Daly, senior vice president of U.S. Bank FlexPerks Rewards. “Whether you
want to redeem points for shoes you just bought for your son or jewelry
you just purchased for your mother, Real-Time Rewards makes on-the-spot
redemptions possible. This is part of our commitment to helping our
customers realize even greater value from U.S. Bank every day.”
Customers simply activate Real-Time Rewards, make a purchase with their
FlexPerks Visa card, and respond to a text message to accept or decline
a redemption offer. Accepted offers trigger a credit to the customer’s
billing statement for the purchase amount and a deduction of FlexPoints
from the customer’s point balance.
Points may be redeemed for goods and services purchased from millions of
stores and websites and some conditions apply. Purchases from gas
stations, restaurants or for travel are not currently eligible.
FlexPoints may only be redeemed for the most recent text message
received, and only one 10-digit U.S. mobile number is permitted per
account.
Real-Time Rewards is a patented process available to U.S. Bank FlexPerks
Visa consumer and FlexPerks Business Edge™ Visa customers. For a limited
time, customers may earn 500 bonus FlexPoints for activating Real-Time
Rewards. For details, please visit FlexPerks.com.
