MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 25, 2013--
U.S. Bank, an ongoing supporter of America
Saves and Military Saves, will participate in America Saves and
Military Saves Week from February 25 to March 2, to further encourage
healthy savings habits among consumers.
America Saves and Military Saves is a nationwide initiative in which a
broad coalition of nonprofit, financial institutions, corporate and
government groups help individuals, service members and all families
save and build wealth. Although the campaign runs throughout the year,
February 25 to March 2 is designated as America Saves and Military Saves
Week to give the ongoing campaign an extra push.
U.S. Bank customers who are interested in participating in the America
Saves and Military Saves campaign can visit the America Saves website at www.americasaves.org
or the Military Saves website at www.militarysaves.org,
to join at no cost. America Saves and Military Saves members receive
free valuable tools and information to develop and take action on a
savings plan.
“The U.S. Bank team is excited to participate in America Saves and
Military Saves Week by providing information, advice and encouragement
to assist people who want to save money,” said Erica Opstad, vice
president, Office of Corporate Citizenship & Financial Education at U.S.
Bank. “We’re all better off when we save money whether it’s for a rainy
day, paying down debt, building an emergency fund, saving for a home, an
education or retirement.”
