Dominic Venturo is a senior executive vice president and the chief AI, data and innovation officer. He is responsible
for driving the strategy, execution and integration of artificial intelligence, data, innovation, and digital assets
and money movement capabilities throughout U.S. Bank. Venturo’s team enables the bank to adopt new
technologies, transform the business and stay on the leading edge. He has been with the company 27 years, leading
teams in digital, innovation and product management.
Venturo was chief digital officer at U.S. Bank from 2020 to 2026 and chief innovation officer from 2015 to 2020.
Prior to that, he led the innovation team for the bank’s payments division and held a number of other
payments-related positions. Venturo also held various roles primarily focusing on small business at Bank of America
and its predecessors from 1989 to 1998.
Venturo serves on the board of The Clearing House Payments Company. He’s also served on the boards of Akoya,
enterprise software firm R3, the Minneapolis College Foundation and Girls with Impact, a nonprofit focused on
leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation to expand the talent pipeline of women, particularly women of color,
across industries.
Venturo earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Oregon State University and is a graduate of the Pacific
Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
